Our Story

De La Fontaine St. Petersburg Campus: A Montessori Legacy in Motion

Founded in 2021, De La Fontaine St. Petersburg became the second campus in the growing legacy of De La Fontaine Montessori Schools. Nestled within the welcoming space of Congregation B’nai Israel in St. Petersburg, Florida, the school was established with a vision to extend the Montessori philosophy to a new community while honoring the core values of safety, nurturing care, and cultural richness.

From its inception, the St. Petersburg campus has focused on creating a warm, secure environment where children from ages 1 to 6 can thrive. The school uniquely integrates daily multilingual immersion with the principles of a prepared Montessori environment—fostering independence, respect, and a lifelong love of learning. With seven thoughtfully designed classrooms, the campus stands as a vibrant, inclusive space where young minds are encouraged to grow, explore, and connect with the world around them.
